| Todd Inouye - Director of CoachingCoach Todd has been a State Head Coach for the Hawaii Olympic Development Program since 2003. He was the Kaiser High School Girl's Varsity Assistant Coach from 2003-2006 and helped lead the team to a 5th place finish in the May 2006 HHSAA State Tournament. Prior to coaching at Kaiser, Coach Todd was at Kaimuki High School as the Boy’s Varsity Head Coach for 4 years and the Girl’s Varsity Assistant Coach for 1 year before that. Coach Todd has been an AYSO Coach for 11 years in both the Honolulu and Diamond Head regions. He has held the AYSO Advanced Coaching Certificate since 2001. Coach Todd has been a HYSA Coach for 10 years and holds a USSF National 'C' License. He also has a Level 1 NSCAA Goalkeeper License. More importantly than all the coaching credentials, Coach Todd has played soccer for the past 25 years here in Hawaii. He has seen the recent explosion of interest and it is his hope that Crush Academy will provide a venue for players serious about the game to hone their skills and take themselves to the next level in their careers. He also is a Physical Science teacher at Kaimuki High School. Coach Matt has been coaching for 5 years, holds an ‘E’ License and is working on his 'D' License.. In addition to his coaching credentials, Coach Matt has played soccer for the past 25 years here in Hawaii and in California. He has played Goal Keeper for his college, University of Santa Cruz and played in a Semi-pro league for two seasons for the California Jaguars in Salinas California. Katie Knight - Instructor and Team Coach Coach Katie Knight has been involved with soccer in some capacity for over 25 years. She grew up playing in the California Premier leagues and attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Coach Katie moved to Hawaii from Alabama with her husband, who is stationed with the US Army at Wheeler Army Airfield, and her seven year old son. Coach Katie has coached at the recreational, intramural and club level for five years while also assisting two Alabama boys’ high school teams. She has coached both boys and girls from the ages of 6 to 18 years old. She has also held summer soccer camps for military children since 2005. Coach Katie currently holds the USSF Youth Module 2, USSF National D License, NSCAA State and Regional Goalkeeping Diploma, NSCAA National Diploma and the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Coach Katie is currently a member of the Hawaii State ODP Coaching Staff.
Dan Kodama -Instructor & Team Coach
Coach Dan has been coaching youth soccer for the past 5 years. He currently holds a USSF "E" license. Coach Dan has been playing soccer for the past 35 years here in Hawaii, Virginia and California. He played midfielder at Pearl City High School and Roosevelt High School. He currently plays soccer in the Major Island Soccer Organization (MISO) M35+ division.
Dari Ann Matsuda -Instructor & Team Coach
Coach Dari played AYSO for 12 years (from the age of five). She played for the Honolulu Bulls for two years and the won the State Cup in 2003. Coach Dari played on the Kalani JV Soccer Team for two years. She was the Co-captain in her sophomore year. In that year, Kalani won the East Champs for the first time in Kalani's history. Coach Dari played on the Kalani Varsity Soccer Team for three years starting in her Sophmore year at Kalani. She was a graduate of Kalani High School in May 2008 and will be attending the University of Hawaii majoring Early Childhood Education. She currently holds a USSF "E" license. Coach Kiman has coached youth soccer for over eight years. His experience includes coaching boys and girls from U8 to U14 for AYSO - Diamond Head Region. Coach Kiman holds an AYSO Intermediate Coaching Certificate since 2004. He currently holds a USSF Module 2 & "E" license. When not on the sidelines coaching, Coach Kiman can also be found refereeing games having attained an AYSO Advance Referee certificate in 2008. Coach Kiman is also the Crush Photographer and Webmaster.
